Schnelle Kanadier-Zeiten nicht als
Weltrekord anerkannt. Die schnellen Zeiten von Jeff SCHOLTEN, Andrew QUINN
und Andrew LAHEY, die in Calgary drei Weltrekorde und einen Junioren-WR
unterboten hatten (siehe CAN-Seite), werden von der ISU
nicht als Weltrekord anerkannt. Grund ist die Verletzung der Regel, nach der bei
Rekordzeiten anerkannte Dopingkontrollen durchzuführen sind (Communication
1030, paragraph 2.5.6). Die teilte ISU-Schnellauf-Koordinator Fabrice PRAHIN auf
Anfrage von packstyle.de mit. Fast times of Canadiens are not ratified
as Word Records. The the times of Jeff SCHOLTEN, Andrew QUINN and Andrew LAHEY
beating three World Records and a Junior WR in Calgary (see
page CAN) are not registered by the ISU.The reason is that there were no
Doping Tests performed at that competition. Doping control is now a condition
for ratification of times (Communication 1030, paragraph 2.5.6). This is the
